Tastin International Prizes

tastin, competes for first time in the World’s Original Marmalade Artisan Awards  2022, in Cumbria and we are very glad to announce that  we get a Gold, a Silver and 3 Bronze Medals!

 

Competing with hundred jars from all around the World, we are very glad that the Judges find our marmalades full of flavor, delicate taste and bright citrus colours! 

Founder of the Awards Jane Hasell-McCosh says: ‘We are delighted to have received so many champion quality preserves again this year. The quality of artisan marmalade has never been higher and I am so proud of our Award Winners this year.

The Artisan jars are judged by an expert panel including food writer Dan Lepard, Fortnum & Mason Grocery Buyer Sarah Metcalf, and David Atherton food writer and winner of The Great British Baked Off 2019 and the accolade that has been awarded denotes marmalades of exceptional quality”

The World’s Original Marmalade Awards were founded in 2005 to help to preserve, this Traditional  British custom - the Marmalade!  And it have Portuguese roots on is creation! It begins with some jars in the first year and have grown to thousands of jars ( more that 3.000 ) each year!

At the heart of the Awards & Festival is Dalemain Mansion, a Georgian stately home lived in by the same family for over 300 years and the holder of a rich archive of early marmalade recipes!
